What is the Launchpad Challenge?
In most of the Be One Step Ahead podcasts and blog posts, you will notice a challenge at the end called the "Launchpad Challenge". It's one thing to lecture someone about why they should do this or that; it's a whole different level when you teach someone with specific, realistic, attainable, and relative examples how to be better and then challenge them to actually do it.
The Launchpad Challenge calls for physical action: Leaders with deliberate dedication always create results through physical action. This means taking a step ahead. Too many business ideas never even go anywhere because real physical movement never happens. The next time you get an idea…try it. The next time you want to do something special for your children…do it. That art gallery that you always wanted to open…take one step ahead by submitting your art to an art show or listing it on a website. Any forward movement is progress and will create the momentum that will carry you forward towards your victory.
The Launchpad Challenge is designed to create momentum in your life.
*Go hard! Take control! Be your best!
*It is easy to get distracted from this most crucial element of life and work: giving it all you have. I challenge each of you to do a personal diagnostic exam on yourself to determine if you are absolutely being *your very best, really taking control, really going hard in all that you do.
*Don’t let the energy-suckers that exist in life take away your excitement and positivity. Keep moving forward no matter what or who gets in your way. Adapt and overcome!
*Each day, when you wake up, before you start on your goals, before you begin your workout, or when you get out of your car and start walking into work, say this: “Today, I am going to be my very best. I am going to work harder and better than I did yesterday and I will let nothing get in my way.”
Feeling like the BOSA challenges are too much pressure? Pressure makes diamonds! I want you to shine with brilliance. Embrace the pressure and be one step ahead.
Will you accept the challenge?
